Meet Me Next Winter
This is my first-ever stop motion video, created for a class project. I’m proud to say it was nominated for one of the best at the Artevelde Film Festival. In this project, I handcrafted all the props, including the stop motion doll, which I sculpted from wires and clay. This experience not only sparked my passion for animation but also deepened my appreciation for the artistry and effort behind stop motion.
3D Handmade God of War Axe
This piece showcases a meticulously handcrafted replica of the iconic Leviathan axe from God of War. Crafted with care, I utilized high-quality clay, a variety of acrylic and spray paints for vibrant details, and genuine leather for the handle. To add an extra touch of realism, I incorporated resin for the gems. Additionally, the axe features 3D printing using PLA, combining traditional artistry with modern technology to create a stunning masterpiece.
A Spark of Hope
This series captures heartfelt moments from multiple visits to a refugee center, where kindness and resilience shine through. I focused on documenting the daily lives of the children, showcasing their experiences, interactions, and the strength they exhibit in the face of adversity. Each photograph reflects their hope and the joy found in their everyday activities.
Cultural Heritage
This project explores the rich cultural heritage of various regions through portraits, highlighting the beauty of traditional attire. I conducted extensive research on different cultural and historical garments, selecting some of my favorites to represent the diversity of ethnicity and style. From the intricate patterns of the Chinese Hanfu to the unique Assyrian jewelry, each piece tells a unique story. Through these portraits, I aim to celebrate the vibrancy of different cultures and the artistry behind their traditional clothing.
